Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 June 2026

These Terms govern use of the Sweat Equity Start-up Summit website, exhibitor portal and stand bookings. By registering, paying for a stand or using our services you agree to these Terms.

Important: This is standard template wording for a UK business-to-business event. It is not legal advice. We recommend having your solicitor review these Terms before relying on them commercially.

1. Organiser

The event is organised by Sweat Equity Club ("Organiser").

2. Exhibitor bookings

2.1 A binding contract is formed when payment is confirmed via our checkout.

2.2 You must provide accurate company information and comply with our content guidelines.

2.3 Stand packages, inclusions and prices are as described at the time of purchase.

3. Cancellations and refunds (exhibitors)

3.1 More than 90 days before the event start date: you may cancel in writing and receive a full refund of stand fees paid, minus any non-refundable payment processing costs charged by our payment provider.

3.2 Between 90 and 30 days before the event: cancellations receive a 50% credit toward a future Sweat Equity Club event within 12 months, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3.3 Fewer than 30 days before the event: fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

3.4 The Organiser may cancel or reschedule the event for reasons beyond reasonable control (force majeure). In that case we will offer a transfer to a rescheduled date or a pro-rata credit.

3.5 Is a 90-day cancellation policy legal? For business customers (B2B), commercial cancellation terms are generally permitted in England & Wales when clearly disclosed before purchase. Consumer bookings may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you sell to consumers, seek legal advice on mandatory cooling-off periods and unfair terms.

4. Intellectual property

You grant us a licence to display your logo, description and materials for event promotion. You warrant you have rights to all uploaded content.

5. Conduct

We may remove content or revoke access for behaviour that harms attendees, breaches law or damages the event brand.

6. Liability

Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the stand fees you paid for the current event.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
